Wireless Policy: Cellular Frequencies

New for 2026

If ordering microphone frequencies contact Microphone
Coordination Team of the Event at
mwcbarcelona.mics@firabarcelona.com with the requirements.

To ensure fair access and prevent interference, frequency requests for the Event are subject to restrictions. Exhibitors should contact Fira Barcelona to discuss specific needs.

Due to the limited number of available frequencies, these are shared among exhibitors. The frequency coordination team will manage allocations and scheduling to minimize interference. Power restrictions may also apply.

When you need to apply

  • Your demonstration equipment operates outside the Wi-Fi spectrum (2.4–5 GHz).
  • You plan to use wireless microphones or walkie-talkies, even if they operate in unlicensed bands.
It is strongly recommended

to secure a frequency for wireless microphones to avoid signal interference.
